Its aggressive lugs target mud, snow, and sand; the described self-cleaning action helps clear mud and debris from the tread. As a tire-only listing, it does not include a rim, so installation requires a compatible wheel purchased separately.

Skip it if you need the wheel included; this listing supplies only the tire, not a rim for installation.

This suits light-truck and SUV owners seeking a 22-inch rugged-terrain tire for mixed mud, snow, and sand use. Check that the vehicle and wheel accept the 33×12.50R22 size and that a compatible rim is available separately.

#5 · Mud-Terrain Pick

5. Aplus Shredder M/T

• Weight: 67 lb
• Load Capacity: 2 lb
• Rim Size: 22 in

Best for: Mud-terrain 22-inch truck builds.

Why it ranks #5: This light-truck mud-terrain tire is listed as LT33/12.50R22 for a 22-inch rim, though its supplied load-capacity figure is only 2 pounds.

The Aplus Shredder M/T is explicitly listed in LT33/12.50R22, tying its mud-terrain category to a 22-inch rim fit for light trucks. The supplied details identify it as an E-rated tire with a 109Q designation, giving buyers specific sizing and rating information to compare with their vehicle requirements.

The LT33/12.50R22 size identifies a 33-inch, 12.50-wide light-truck tire for a 22-inch rim, which helps narrow wheel-fit checks before mounting. Its M/T designation identifies the listing’s mud-terrain category, while the E load-range description and 109Q marking offer rating details for comparison against the vehicle’s requirements. The supplied information does not describe tread features or surface performance, so buyers should rely on verified tire specifications rather than assume particular traction behavior.

Skip it if you require described self-cleaning tread or stated snow traction; Venom Power Terra Hunter R/T+ lists those features.

This fits shoppers comparing a 33/12.50R22 light-truck mud-terrain tire with E and 109Q markings. Confirm those specifications against the vehicle’s requirements, and note that the supplied listing does not explain the tread design or surface-specific performance.

#6

6. Carlisle HD Field Trax

• Weight: 20.3 lb
• Load Capacity: 600 lb
• Rim Size: 8 in

Best for: ATV and utility-vehicle owners.

Why it ranks #6: It is an ATV and utility-vehicle tire with a 22X12-8 size and 8-inch rim, not a 22-inch truck tire, despite the similar size wording.

Its 22×12-8 size is for an 8-inch rim, not a 22-inch wheel, making this Carlisle HD Field Trax an ATV and utility-vehicle tire rather than a match for the roundup’s wheel size. Its wide footprint and dense block tread target hardpack traction, while damage-resistant compounds address cuts and punctures.

The listed AT22/12-8 size and 8-inch rim specification make the fit limitation decisive: this tire does not fit a 22-inch rim. For compatible ATVs, utility vehicles, side-by-sides, and fun-karts, the wide construction and dense block tread are described as providing traction on hardpack surfaces. A reinforced casing and damage-resistant compounds help resist cuts and punctures, while the listed 600-pound load capacity gives buyers a stated figure to check against their vehicle requirements.

Skip it if you need a tire for a 22-inch rim; the listed 8-inch rim fits ATV-scale applications instead.

Choose this Carlisle for a compatible ATV, utility vehicle, side-by-side, or fun-kart used on hardpack, not for a 22-inch wheel. Its 8-inch rim specification is the key boundary, and the rim is not included.

#7

7. MowerPartsGroup Grassmaster XT

• Weight: 36 lb

Best for: Specified zero-turn mower replacements.

Why it ranks #7: These mower tires are 22×12.00-12 replacements for specified mower models, not tires for 22-inch rims, so they do not match the truck-wheel use case.

This listing supplies two 22×12.00-12 Grassmaster XT replacement tires, but their 12-inch rim size means they are not tires for 22-inch wheels. Their stated fit applications include select Gravely and Ariens 60-inch mower models, so the key buyer benefit is a specified replacement pair for those machines.

The 22×12.00-12 size describes a 22-inch tire with a 12-inch rim, not a tire for a 22-inch wheel; check that distinction before ordering. The listing specifies two tires and names Gravely Pro-Turn 60-inch and HD 60-inch models, plus Ariens Zenith 60-inch, Apex 60-inch, and 2024 Apex Limited 60-inch. It also gives replacement numbers 07101620 and 07101241, supporting cross-checks against the mower’s model and serial details.

Skip it if you need tires for a 22-inch rim; these 22×12.00-12 mower tires specify a 12-inch rim.

This pair is for owners replacing tires on the listed Gravely or Ariens mower models, not for vehicles with 22-inch wheels. Verify the mower model, serial, and replacement numbers; the stated 12-inch rim size is the critical fit boundary.
